Pakistani Textile Industry Gains Global Spotlight at Texworld USA 2025

NEW YORK/KARACHI – The Texworld USA 2025 trade show concluded on a high note, spotlighting Pakistan’s emerging role in global textile and apparel sourcing. Held from July 23 to 25 at New York City’s Javits Center, the event featured over 424 international exhibitors, showcasing cutting-edge fabrics, ethical sourcing, and innovation in fashion and home textiles.

Nine companies from Pakistan participated, reflecting the country’s competitive edge in denim, knitwear, fashion garments, and home furnishings. Of these, six exhibitors—including Mym Knitwear, Chawala Enterprises, and Roomi Tex—were supported by the TDAP, while Az Apparel, Yarana Textiles, and Mahmood Textiles Mills joined independently.

Adnan Butt, Director of Yarana Textile Mills, expressed optimism about the event’s outcome. Similarly, Roomi Tex’s Marketing Director Hammad found the overall participation rewarding and consistent.

Pakistani exhibitors joined industry giants from India, China, Turkey, South Korea, Taiwan, and more, reinforcing Pakistan’s image as a trusted global supplier with a strong emphasis on sustainability, quality, and value-driven manufacturing.
