Pakistan needs to revisit its Kashmir policy to achieve results: Raja Farooq Haider

Islamabad – Wahab Raza Alvi: On the occasion of the Right to Self-Determination a seminar was held by the Youth Association of Pakistan in collaboration with JKSDMI at Islamabad Hotel. The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has said that there is a dire need for a complete change in the policy regarding Kashmir which has been going on for 73 years. It could not be followed up after the UN speech. Modi, the representative of extremist Hindus, wants only the expansion of India.

He expressed such views while addressing a seminar on “UN Resolutions on Kashmir” organized by the Youth Association of Pakistan and the Jammu and Kashmir Movement for the Right to Self-Determination. Kashmir Committee Shehryar Afridi, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Haq Khudaradit International Raja Najabat Hussain, Chairman, Youth Association of Pakistan Mr. Abdul Qadir uttered his deem feelings for Kashmir. He said that India never succeed in her illegal propaganda against Kashmir. India can never change the mind unstoppable struggle and devotion of Kashmiri people. That day is not far when Kashmiris dream for freedom will come true.

MNA Shandana Gulzar, Former Ambassador Ambassador Nafees Zakaria and Dr Owais Wasi also addressed the seminar. Concluding, Kashmiris have narrated the eternal story of sacrifices for freedom. The example of Kashmiris’ sacrifices is very rare in human history. The Prime Minister said that implementation of the UN resolutions is imperative, adding that despite the passage of seven decades, the non-resolution of the UN resolutions is a matter of concern. The Prime Minister said that Kashmiris will be heard in the world.
