Islamabad: The Caretaker Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, Madad Ali Sindhi, urged the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) to expedite the formulation of policies and the execution of ongoing projects.
Chairing a meeting attended by the DG of FDE, senior representatives from HEC, and ministry officials, the minister received a briefing from HEC representatives regarding the consideration of the Private Members Bill ‘The Smart Institute of Science and Technology (Amendment) Bill 2023’.
It was highlighted that HEC had been deliberating on the development of a service structure and promotion policy for university teachers. Additionally, the minister was informed about the training being provided to FDE teachers.
