In a major enforcement move, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) sealed the head office of Golden City Housing Scheme along with 10 other illegal properties in Rawalpindi.
Acting on the directives of DG Kinza Murtaza, the RDA squad targeted Mouza Mohri Khatrain, Nullah Dhamyal Kalyal, and Adyala Road (Mouza Jarahi). The Golden City sponsor was accused of illegally advertising and booking plots on social media without acquiring the mandatory RDA NOC, violating Punjab’s urban planning laws.
The DG stated that the action aligns with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s instructions for strict measures against illegal developments, encroachments, and unauthorized advertisements.
Kinza Murtaza urged the public to avoid investing in unapproved housing schemes and always confirm a project’s legal status with RDA.
