Gold Rate Slashes by Rs. 8,500 Per Tola in Three Days Amid Global Price Dip

Gold prices in Pakistan have seen a significant decline, falling by Rs. 8,500 per tola in the last three days, as per the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

On Saturday, the 24-karat gold rate dropped further by Rs. 300 per tola, closing at Rs. 356,400, compared to Rs. 356,700 a day earlier.

Gold Prices for 10 Grams & Silver Also Down

  • 10 grams of 24-karat gold now costs Rs. 305,555, down by Rs. 257.

  • 10 grams of 22-karat gold has fallen by Rs. 235, now priced at Rs. 280,102.

Silver also witnessed a drop:

  • Silver per tola fell by Rs. 60 to Rs. 3,963

  • Silver per 10 grams decreased by Rs. 52 to Rs. 3,397

Global Bullion Market Influence

In the international market, gold prices declined by $3 per ounce, now at $3,337, while silver slipped by $0.60, trading at $38.14 per ounce.

Market analysts say the global bullion correction has directly impacted local gold prices, benefiting buyers in the short term.
