Gold Prices in Pakistan Reach Record High Amid Global Surge

Gold prices in Pakistan soared to a record high on Friday, mirroring a global surge driven by increasing demand.

The price of gold per tola in Pakistan jumped by Rs2,400, reaching an unprecedented Rs257,300. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs2,057, settling at Rs220,593.

The international bullion market also saw a significant increase, with the price of gold per ounce climbing by $26 to hit $2,458, the highest on record. This rise in global gold prices is attributed to heightened demand amid economic uncertainties and market volatility.

A day earlier, the gold price per tola in Pakistan was recorded at Rs254,900 after a gain of Rs1,400, while the price for 10 grams was Rs218,536.

Experts believe the surge in gold prices reflects ongoing economic conditions, which have driven investors towards the precious metal as a safe-haven asset.
