Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has announced the addition of Kozhikode in India to its scheduled international network, further strengthening its presence in the South Asian market. With this move, Kozhikode becomes Saudia’s seventh destination in India, joining Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kochi, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Lucknow.
The new route will officially begin on February 1, 2026, with four weekly direct flights operating from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Tickets for the Riyadh–Kozhikode service are already available for booking through Saudia’s official website and mobile application.
According to the airline, coordination is currently in progress with Kozhikode airport authorities to finalize all operational and logistical arrangements ahead of the launch. The route is expected to cater to strong demand from business travelers, tourists, and passengers traveling for religious purposes.
The inclusion of Kozhikode aligns with Saudia’s broader expansion strategy aimed at connecting more global destinations to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The airline continues to focus on optimizing its modern fleet, expanding international reach, and enhancing its competitive position in the global aviation market.
Saudia’s global network now spans more than 100 destinations across four continents. The airline operates over 550 domestic and international flights daily, playing a key role in supporting tourism, business travel, as well as Hajj and Umrah operations.
