In Islamabad, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Danila Ganich, made a farewell visit to Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar.
The Prime Minister commended the Ambassador’s significant contributions in bolstering bilateral relations. He extended well wishes to the Ambassador for his future endeavors and expressed optimism about maintaining a strong friendship with Pakistan.
During discussions on bilateral relations, the Prime Minister stressed that Russia, holding a pivotal role both regionally and globally, remains a crucial partner for Pakistan. He expressed contentment regarding the consistent growth in bilateral relations and reiterated the importance of fostering mutually advantageous cooperation. Emphasizing the significance of sectors like connectivity and energy, the Prime Minister highlighted their potential to promote collaboration for the benefit of both the people and the region.
