Shoaib Malik has expressed his readiness to participate in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024

The seasoned Pakistani T20I all-rounder, Shoaib Malik, has created a stir in the cricketing world with his official declaration of readiness to participate in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup in 2024, set to take place in the USA and the West Indies.

In a recent interview with a local media channel, Shoaib conveyed his eagerness to make himself accessible for the national team during the forthcoming mega-event if the cricket board extends an invitation.

Shoaib stated, “I am eager to hoist the T20 World Cup for Pakistan in 2024. I have no concerns regarding my physical fitness; I am as fit as I was in my younger days. Whenever PCB reaches out to me, I am available for Pakistan.”

It’s noteworthy that the 42-year-old cricketer has amassed 2435 runs in 124 T20I matches, boasting an average of 31.21 and a strike rate of 125.64. His last T20I appearance was in 2021 against Bangladesh in Mirpur.

Furthermore, the right-handed batsman has an impressive achievement to his credit, standing as the second-highest run-scorer in T20 cricket with 12,688 runs in 515 matches, sporting an average of 36.25 and a strike rate of 127.68, which includes a remarkable 79 half-centuries.
