Temperatures are set to decrease even more throughout Pakistan.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted chilly and arid conditions across the majority of the nation.

Sindh, particularly Karachi, is anticipated to undergo a cold spell. Weather analyst Jawad Memon mentioned, “Temperatures might plummet to single digits in the outskirts of Karachi.”

A shallow westerly wave that impacted western Balochistan is expected to have shifted northeastwards. As this system moves away in the next 24 hours, it is likely to influence the northern regions, bringing cold spells to Sindh.
According to the Meteorological Department, predominantly cold and dry conditions are anticipated in most low-lying regions of the country, with the upper regions expected to experience very cold and partly cloudy weather in the upcoming week.

The likelihood of fog has been forecasted in upper Sindh, the flatlands of Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during both morning and night, the department further stated.
