Punjab declares Winter Break for Educational Institutions encompassing Schools, Colleges, and Universities.
Interim Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, has declared the commencement of winter holidays throughout the province.
Utilizing his social media platform, the interim CM shared that all educational establishments, including schools, colleges, and universities, will be shut from December 18 to December 31.
Moreover, the interim CM mentioned that no constraints will be enforced during the forthcoming weekend owing to the amelioration in the Air Quality Index (AQI).
This determination was made during a convened meeting led by the CM, attended by experts and government officials.
With educational institutions closed across Punjab, resulting in reduced traffic on the roads, a significant improvement in the Air Quality Index (AQI) is anticipated in the final weeks of December.
Previously, Sindh had also announced winter vacations for educational institutions across the province. As per a notification released by the Sindh Education and Literacy Department, the government specified winter recess from December 22 to December 31.
