PEC and MySET Strengthen Pakistan-Malaysia Engineering Collaboration for Global Competitiveness
Islamabad: Members of the Malaysian Society for Engineering & Technology (MySET) visited Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) here on Friday. The meeting served as a platform for in-depth discussions on advancing shared objectives and collaboration among Engineers of Pakistan and Malaysia. The President of Malaysian Society for Engineering & Technology, Professor Megat Johari Megat Mohd Noor praised the efforts in maintaining efficient accreditation to ensure professionalism and transparency, in engineering practices.
Chairman Pakistan Engineering Council, Engineer Waseem Nazir underscored the need to establish a framework for ongoing collaboration and mutual collaboration between the two countries. He emphasized that such linkages are vital for fostering innovation, exchanging technical expertise, and developing robust technological education programs that benefit the engineering communities of the two countries.
PEC and MySET vowed to prepare fresh graduates in a bid to excel in a global market. Possibilities of expanding bilateral cooperation to broader forums like FEIIC (Federation of Engineering Institutions of Islamic Countries) were also discussed.
