Pakistan showcases textile excellence at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics & Yarn Expo 2025

Pakistan reaffirmed its textile industry’s global standing by actively participating in the Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics & Yarn Expo Autumn 2025, held from 2–4 September at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai.

This year, 10 Pakistani exhibitors showcased their products, with seven companies at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics (ITSA) and three at Yarn Expo. Of these, three exhibitors featured under the Pakistan Pavilion through the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), while the rest joined independently.

The Autumn editions drew remarkable international participation — 3,700 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions at Intertextile Shanghai, alongside 580 exhibitors from 16 countries at Yarn Expo. Thousands of trade visitors attended, turning the event into a vibrant hub for sourcing, networking, and industry exchange.

Speaking at the event, Muhammad Abdullah Tanvir, Deputy Marketing Manager at Diamond Fabrics Ltd, said:
“We met a number of serious international buyers. Intertextile Shanghai is definitely the right platform for expanding our global reach. The event attracts the right audience and provides an excellent opportunity to showcase our products.”

Similarly, Khawaja Muhammad Muzaffar Iqbal, Director at Mahmood Textile Mills, highlighted:
“The exhibition has always been amazing and valuable for us. It’s our honour to be a regular exhibitor here for over a decade.”

Pakistan’s continued presence at Intertextile Shanghai demonstrates the country’s commitment to quality, innovation, and global trade integration. Industry leaders believe the 2025 editions will open new avenues for business, strengthen international partnerships, and reinforce Pakistan’s reputation as a leading textile producer on the world stage.
