Omani scholarship program 2025–26 offers fully funded undergraduate studies for Pakistani students

The Government of the Sultanate of Oman has announced the Omani Scholarship Program 2025–26, offering fully funded undergraduate opportunities to international students, including Pakistani nationals. This initiative, under the Omani Program for Cultural and Scientific Cooperation, aims to strengthen bilateral academic and cultural ties while providing access to quality higher education.

Under the program, students can pursue bachelor’s degrees in engineering, humanities, information technology, and sciences (excluding medicine) at selected private higher education institutions across Oman.

Key benefits

• 100% tuition fee waiver

• Monthly stipend: OMR 200 (without housing) or OMR 140 (with free housing)

• One round-trip air ticket per academic year

• Option to apply to up to three universities and two academic majors

Eligibility criteria

• Must be a Pakistani national

• Completed Intermediate (Grade 12) or equivalent within the last three years

• Age limit: 23 years at the time of application

• Medically fit

• Must obtain an Equivalency Certificate from the Ministry of Education, Oman

Required documents

• Valid passport

• Intermediate certificate or equivalent

• Omani Equivalency Certificate

• English language proficiency results (if available)

• All files must be in English, meet size limits, and have no special characters in the filename

• Nizwa University – Various engineering, IT, sciences, and business majors – Deadline: August 25, 2025

• Al Buraimi University – Business, MIS, architecture, AI, ICT, mechanical engineering, health sciences – Deadline: August 25, 2025

• Sharqiyah University – AI engineering, cybersecurity, health sciences, law, business, IT – Deadline: August 30, 2025 (Semester 1)

• Dhofar University – All majors except medicine – Deadline: August 25, 2025

• Majan University College – Business administration, IT – Deadline: September 18, 2025

• Gulf College – All majors – Deadline: August 31, 2025

• Global College of Engineering & Technology – All majors – Deadline: September 23, 2025

• German University of Technology – Applied earth sciences, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering – Deadline: August 30, 2025

Important note: Medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy are not covered under this program. Applicants must meet all academic criteria and comply with individual university requirements.
