ISLAMABAD: The National University of Technology (NUTECH) has expanded its academic portfolio with the launch of several new postgraduate programs, including MS and PhD degrees in cutting-edge disciplines.
The university has introduced MS programs in Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, alongside the European Union-funded MS in Climate Change and Environmental Informatics (CCEI) — a first-of-its-kind initiative aimed at tackling environmental challenges through data-driven research and innovation.
On the doctoral side, NUTECH has launched PhD programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science, providing fresh opportunities for advanced research in Pakistan.

International recognition
Philipp Oliver Gross emphasized that the MS in Climate Change and Environmental Informatics will help students innovate solutions for global climate challenges. Ambassadors Dr. Dan Stoenescu and Ina Lepel praised NUTECH for launching advanced academic initiatives, noting that the strong admission response shows the rising demand for specialized, industry-relevant education in Pakistan.
They added that these programs will not only strengthen academia-industry linkages but also foster sustainable innovation and practical solutions to pressing national and global issues.
