Interloop Limited digitizes procurement with SAP Ariba to boost efficiency and global sourcing
ISLAMABAD: In a major digital leap, Interloop Limited—a leading Pakistani textile exporter—has partnered with SAP to implement SAP Ariba, aiming to modernize its procurement systems and strengthen international supplier access.
Known for its vertically integrated operations and over $500 million in annual exports, Interloop is working to become a fully integrated clothing brand aligned with global standards. Under its internal restructuring program “Project North Star,” the company shifted from a decentralized to a centralized procurement model.
The move is designed to create transparency, streamline supplier engagement, and drive long-term savings. SAP Ariba offers a complete Source-to-Contract solution, enabling Interloop to manage sourcing events, contracts, and supplier performance on a global scale.
“This is more than automation—it’s about building a sustainable, strategic procurement function,” said Interloop CEO Navid Fazil. “With SAP Ariba, we’re improving visibility, reducing costs, and enabling better decision-making.”
SAP’s regional head, Saquib Ahmad, added, “This partnership will bring Interloop to the forefront of digital procurement in Pakistan, with faster sourcing cycles, better governance, and stronger supplier relationships.”
The initiative also supports Interloop’s sustainability goals, aligning with UN SDGs, and sets a new industry benchmark for the digital transformation of Pakistan’s textile sector.
