AI-powered ‘Khurshid Answers’ unveiled in Islamabad to safeguard scholarly works of Prof. Khurshid Ahmad

ISLAMABAD — The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) has launched Khurshid Answers, an AI-driven knowledge bot designed to protect, curate, and promote the intellectual contributions of renowned scholar, economist, and reformer Professor Khurshid Ahmad.

Part of the “Knowledge Protection, Preservation, Promotion, and Production (K4P)” project, the bot is built on over 100,000 pages of his works with more material being added. The platform includes a website and mobile app that allow real-time interaction, enabling students, researchers, and policymakers to engage with his ideas in dynamic ways.

At the launch ceremony, Khalid Rahman (IPS Chairman), Dr. Musthafa Rayes, Farooq Murad, and Haris Khurshid addressed the audience, underscoring the importance of carrying forward Prof. Khurshid’s vision using modern tools. A live demonstration showcased how the bot generates authentic responses rooted exclusively in his writings.

Speakers highlighted that Prof. Khurshid Ahmad’s legacy lies in connecting Islamic vision to fields such as economics, education, human behavior, and nation-building. The initiative, they noted, not only preserves his thought but also makes it relevant for addressing today’s global challenges.
