Islamabad: The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi, emphasized the enduring and deep-rooted friendship between the UAE and Pakistan, which is built on mutual respect, shared values, and a common vision for regional peace and development.
Speaking at the National Day reception, attended by prominent figures including Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Ambassador Alzaabi reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with Pakistan.
“We see immense potential for collaboration in diverse sectors such as renewable energy, artificial intelligence, sustainability, economic diversification, and agricultural innovations,” he remarked. “Together, we can create opportunities for our youth and drive innovation that benefits not just our two nations, but the entire region.”
As the UAE celebrated this historic occasion, the ambassador urged a recommitment to the core values that define the nation: unity, determination, and compassion. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Government and people of Pakistan for their warm hospitality and unwavering support.
Concluding his address, Ambassador Alzaabi expressed hope for the future of bilateral relations. “May the friendship between the UAE and Pakistan continue to grow for generations to come,” he said.
