Trump lashes out at Israel and Iran over broken ceasefire promises

In a dramatic twist, US President Donald Trump has slammed both Israel and Iran for breaking the very ceasefire he proudly announced just hours earlier. And according to him, Israel is at the top of his naughty list.

Before boarding his plane to The Hague for a NATO meet-up, Trump vented his frustration to journalists, saying he had to calm Israel down after they dropped bombs right after shaking hands on peace. “As soon as we had a deal, Israel unleashed a bombing spree like never before — the biggest I’ve seen yet,” he said, visibly annoyed.

He didn’t mince words: Israel should stop immediately and call its pilots back. “If they bomb Iran again, that’s a serious breach of what we agreed on,” Trump warned.

At the same time, he didn’t spare Iran either. He admitted he wasn’t happy with Tehran, but said his anger was mostly aimed at Israel this time. Trump even claimed Iran’s nuclear threat is now history, thanks to recent US measures.

This all comes after Iran fired missiles at the Al Udeid US base in Qatar overnight — the same night Trump declared the guns would fall silent. He’d outlined a step-by-step ceasefire plan: Iran would stop firing first, Israel would follow 12 hours later, and the world would get to witness the official end of the short but tense “12-Day War” within a day.

Behind the scenes, Trump rang up Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, basically begging him not to attack Iran. But according to insiders, Netanyahu said it was too late to fully back down because Iran had already crossed the line — so they’d go ahead with a tiny strike targeting only one specific site.

It’s a tense moment, and all eyes are on whether either side will stick to what’s left of the fragile peace.
