The Supreme Court has instructed the Election Commission of Pakistan to address the concerns raised by PTI regarding a fair electoral environment.

Islamabad: The Supreme Court instructed the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to address the PTI’s concerns about an unfair electoral environment leading up to the general election on February 8.

The court specifically mandated the PTI to lodge its complaint with the ECP by 3pm on that day and directed Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) Mansoor Usman Awan to actively engage in resolving the issue.

These instructions came during a hearing by a three-member bench composed of Justices Sardar Tariq Masood, Athar Minallah, and Syed Mansoor Ali, who were considering the party’s request for a fair playing field in the upcoming elections.
