The Embassy commemorates Korean Week in Lahore.

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Lahore celebrated Korean Week with a series of events. Among them was the 2023 K-POP Concert Night (non-commercial, Non-ticketed) held at Al-Hamra Lahore Arts Council on Friday, December 8th. The Korean rock band, GAON, traveled from Korea specifically to perform at this event. Additionally, K-POP idol Ms. Namkoog Seeoyoon showcased her talent alongside the Pakistani K-pop group Dynamite Crew, joined by Mr. Gohar and Ms. Sara. ‘Above Top Tier’, a group of girls from the Korea Language and Culture Center, also participated.

Dr. Jamal Nasir, Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, along with the Secretary of the Food Department. H.E. Mr. Park Kijun, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, highlighted in his speech the profound impact of music in fostering unity and friendship between nations. He expressed optimism about the future of Pakistan-Korea relations, foreseeing a path of growing strength and mutual collaboration.

The event drew a full house and the performances were electrifying, delighting the audience in attendance.
