Poco C85 drops with big battery for just $95

Poco has unveiled the Poco C85, an entry-level smartphone that packs a massive 6,000 mAh battery while keeping its price at just $95. The device closely mirrors the Redmi 15C 4G released earlier this month, offering nearly identical hardware with Poco’s branding and fresh color options.

Design and Display

The Poco C85 sports a 6.9-inch IPS LCD with a 720×1600 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals. It reaches up to 810 nits brightness, making it usable under bright light. The phone also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP64 dust and splash resistance, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

It measures 171.56 x 79.47 x 7.99 mm, weighs 205 grams, and is available in black, green, and purple.

Performance and Software

Powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset, the Poco C85 comes in two memory variants:

  • 6GB RAM + 128GB storage

  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage

The phone runs on Android 15 with HyperOS 2 (likely based on MIUI for Poco). A microSD card slot is also included for storage expansion.

Cameras

The smartphone is fitted with a 50MP primary camera on the back, accompanied by a secondary QVGA sensor. For selfies, it features an 8MP front-facing camera. Both front and rear cameras support 1080p video recording at 30fps.

Battery and Charging

The standout feature is its 6,000 mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging and 10W reverse wired charging, making it one of the most powerful budget devices in its class.
