Pakistani consulate in Barcelona hosts vibrant Truck Art exhibition celebrating Pakistan’s colorful culture
Barcelona: The Consulate General of Pakistan in Barcelona organized a vibrant and traditional Truck Art Exhibition, drawing an impressive turnout from both local residents and members of the Pakistani community in Spain.
Speaking at the event, Consul General of Pakistan Murad Ali Wazir said the Consulate is actively promoting Pakistan’s culture, art, music, and traditions across Spain. He explained that the purpose of the Truck Art workshop was to introduce local audiences to the rich and colorful heritage of Pakistan.
Murad Ali Wazir also revealed that a famous Flamenco music group from Spain will soon visit Pakistan to further strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.
Truck art specialist Tariq Khan, addressing the audience, shared that he has been promoting Pakistan’s positive and artistic image globally for the past 14 years, with the support of Pakistani embassies and consulates worldwide. He noted that the tradition of truck art began in the 1920s and has since gained international recognition for its vivid colors and creative expression.
Participants highly appreciated the artworks on display, calling them a fascinating reflection of Pakistan’s cultural identity.
