Nvidia is upgrading its all-in-one PC app on August 19, with new features aimed at replacing the legacy Control Panel and giving gamers more streamlined control.
The update integrates settings such as anisotropic filtering, anti-aliasing, ambient occlusion, and Nvidia Surround directly into the app, reducing the reliance on older tools.
For the first time, Nvidia is introducing a global DLSS override. Instead of manually tweaking DLSS per game, users can now apply preferences across all supported titles. The in-game overlay will also highlight which DLSS settings are currently active.
Another big change is the rollout of Smooth Motion to RTX 40-series GPUs. This AI-based driver feature, previously limited to RTX 50-series, boosts perceived frame rates in games without DLSS Frame Generation, supporting DLSS Super Resolution, native rendering, and other upscalers.
Nvidia has also enhanced Project G-Assist, its AI gaming companion. The updated model cuts memory usage by 40% while maintaining speed and responsiveness for in-game assistance.
The beta version launches on August 19, with general availability expected the following week.
