The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Park Ki Jun, visited the Radio Pakistan headquarters, where he was welcomed by the Director General of PBC, Saeed Ahmed Sheikh. During the visit, Sheikh provided the Ambassador with a briefing on the history of Radio Pakistan and arranged a guided tour of various sections of the station.
The Korean Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Director General and PBC management for the warm hospitality. He also conveyed his interest in enhancing communication and digital connectivity between Korea and Pakistan.
Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in 1983, bilateral ties have steadily expanded in areas such as trade, investment, human exchange, and development cooperation. The Republic of Korea remains dedicated to fostering mutual exchanges with Pakistan across multiple domains, including economic, cultural, tourism, and other fields.
