Saudi low-cost airline Flyadeal launches flights to Pakistan’s capital and Peshawar

Flyadeal, the budget carrier from Saudi Arabia, has expanded its international footprint by adding Islamabad and Peshawar to its flight network in Pakistan.

The airline’s first Riyadh–Islamabad flight landed at Islamabad International Airport on Sunday, carrying 65 passengers. The aircraft was given a traditional water salute before departing back to Riyadh with 172 passengers. This weekly service will run every Sunday.

A day later, on August 25, Flyadeal’s inaugural Riyadh–Peshawar flight arrived at Bacha Khan International Airport. The milestone was celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony attended by senior officials from the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), Airport Security Force (ASF), and Menzies RAS. The airline will now connect Riyadh and Peshawar with two flights a week, operating every Monday and Wednesday.

Officials at the PAA hailed the new routes as an important step in improving air connectivity and offering more choices for passengers. They also emphasized that the expansion would further cement the strong relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
