KARACHI: The glitz and glamour of the 2023 Lux Style Awards dazzled the Expo Centre Karachi, where the star-studded event unfolded in all its grandeur. The hosts for the evening, Saba Qamar, Fahad Mustafa, Ahmed Ali Butt, and Durefishan Saleem, ushered in a night of recognition for fan favorites, with many taking home the coveted silver statuettes.
In line with tradition, this year’s awards celebrated achievements in fashion, television, music, and film, attracting the biggest names in the industry. The Youngest Lifetime Achievement Award was a touching tribute to the veteran star Reema Khan, presented after a powerful homage by Saba, celebrating the iconic artist of the 90s. Marina Khan received the prestigious Lux Changemaker’s Award.
However, the highlight of the evening belonged to Yumna Zaidi, who shattered previous records by clinching two trophies, cementing her status as the most awarded female actor in the TV category at the LSAs.
The red carpet witnessed an array of celebrities, including Saba, Fahad, Sanam Saeed, Mohib Mirza, Aima Baig, Shae Gill, Sarwat Gilani, Farhan Saeed, Urwa Hocane, Yasir Hussain, Ali Xeeshan, filmmaker Nadeem Baig, Sarmad Khoosat, the Joyland team, Sunita Marshall, Hina Bayat Khwaja, Ali Zafar, Faisal Kapadia, and many others. The hosts for the night, Faizan Haque, Anoushey Ashraf, Saheefa Jabbar Khattak, and Mariyam Nafees, engaged the stars in lively conversations.
