Woman booked for harassing PAF pilot after marriage proposal rejection

A Pakistan Air Force pilot stationed at M.M. Alam Airbase in Mianwali has accused a woman of harassment and blackmail after rejecting her marriage proposal, leading to an FIR being registered against her.

The pilot filed the complaint with Mianwali Saddar Police, naming a woman from Chah Hameedwala, Dera Ghazi Khan. She was reportedly operating a fake social media profile under the name “Rafia” from Multan. Their online interactions began with her sharing personal hardships and a desire to marry.

They eventually met in person in Multan on April 24, 2025, where the pilot discovered her true identity. After he refused her proposal, she allegedly began calling him repeatedly, issuing threats and warning him of “serious consequences.”

The FIR (No. 232/25) includes PPC sections 419, 420, 500, 506, 211, and Section 25-D of the Telegraph Act. The pilot further claimed the woman had previously filed a false rape allegation in 2021 under Section 376 in Multan, which he believes reflects a pattern of blackmail.

He has appealed to authorities for swift action to prevent further threats or reputational harm.
