Will not tolerate any ‘appointments’ during elections: Sirajul Haq

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Sirajul Haq asserted on Sunday that his party will oppose any form of “imposed choices” in the forthcoming elections.

During a press conference in Lahore, Haq emphasized, “From December 10 to February 8, the youth of the nation will persist in their endeavors for the elections. We are optimistic that the elections will proceed as planned. The country must confront severe adversities if democracy is undermined.”

He emphasized that the JI will align with the public exclusively.
