Banking with UBL is about to get easier—even on Sundays. United Bank Limited has announced that select branches will now operate on Sundays, offering services for six hours between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Sharing the update on its social media, UBL said, “Banking services available for you every day of the week,” reinforcing its commitment to serving customers beyond traditional banking days.
Although many banks already open limited branches on Saturdays, this marks the first time a major bank has opened its doors on Sundays for regular public transactions. Customers can view the list of Sunday-operating branches on the bank’s official platforms.
The decision comes amid intensifying competition in Pakistan’s banking sector, where financial institutions are introducing extended hours and enhanced services to attract and retain customers. Recently, another bank announced longer weekday hours, staying open until 7:00 p.m.
With this move, UBL aims to provide greater flexibility for professionals, businesses, and individuals who need banking access outside regular hours.
