The Portuguese ambassador is thrilled by Nepal’s choice to establish an embassy in Lisbon

In Islamabad, Ambassador Tapas Adhikari greeted Ambassador Manuel Frederico Pinheiro da Silva of Portugal at the Embassy.

While at the Embassy, they conversed about the bilateral relations between Nepal and Portugal, exploring avenues to strengthen this connection. Additionally, Ambassador da Silva recognized the valuable contributions made by the Nepali community towards Portugal’s social and economic progress, highlighting their status as the second-largest South Asian community in Portugal.

Expressing delight, Ambassador da Silva welcomed the decision by the Government of Nepal to establish a Nepali Embassy in Lisbon, foreseeing its potential to advance the already amicable relationship between our two nations.
