PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat has been arrested and transferred to Golra police station in Islamabad, officials confirmed on Thursday. The decision to postpone the rally was made following a meeting between senior PTI leaders Omar Ayub Khan, Azam Swati, and Barrister Gohar with party founder Imran Khan at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail. After the meeting, Azam Swati and Barrister Gohar announced the new rally date and confirmed that PTI’s Islamabad chapter, led by Aamir Mughal, will secure the necessary permissions for the event.

The arrests and rally postponement come amidst heightened tensions as PTI continues its public mobilization efforts despite ongoing legal challenges.
