Pakistan heads to Bangladesh for T20I showdown this July

Cricket fans, mark your calendars — Pakistan is all set to take on Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series in Dhaka this July!

The Bangladesh Cricket Board confirmed the news on June 25, and the action kicks off with the first match on Sunday, July 20. The second and third games are lined up for July 22 and July 24. All three matches will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium, starting at 6 PM local time.

Pakistan’s squad is expected to land in Dhaka by July 16, ready to turn the tables after their recent defeat to Bangladesh. But Bangladesh has something to prove too — especially after getting clean-swept by Pakistan in their last visit to Lahore.

It’ll also be a big test for Mike Hesson, Pakistan’s new white-ball coach. This tour marks his first overseas assignment with the team, and word is he’s keen on bringing in some fresh young faces. With the next T20 World Cup just around the corner in India and Sri Lanka, this series could help shape Pakistan’s final squad.

All eyes will be on how both sides bounce back — and who seizes the momentum heading into a big cricketing year.
