‘Nusuk Umrah’ platform launched to allow direct online visa applications

In a major step to ease Umrah travel, Saudi Arabia has launched the “Nusuk Umrah” platform, enabling Muslims worldwide to apply directly for Umrah visas online without the need for agents.

According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the platform offers a one-stop digital solution where pilgrims can not only apply for visas but also book accommodation, transport, and tour services in advance.

Officials explained that this initiative is an additional option alongside traditional licensed agents, giving pilgrims greater flexibility to either choose a full package or arrange individual services.

The service is available in seven languages and directly connected to government systems to ensure faster processing. It also supports multiple payment options to cater to international users.

Accessible at umrah.nusuk.sa, the platform aims to enhance convenience while maintaining transparency. For those less comfortable with online systems, details of approved agents are also available.

Saudi authorities stressed that “Nusuk Umrah” is part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 reforms, designed to expand religious tourism and raise the quality of Hajj and Umrah services.
