Mishi Khan Hits Back at Kangana Ranaut Over Anti-Pakistan Remarks: “One Punch From Me Would Be Enough”

Amid heightened tensions between Pakistan and India, Pakistani actress and TV host Mishi Khan has taken a strong swipe at Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut for her controversial comments targeting Pakistan.

In a fiery Instagram video posted over the weekend, Mishi didn’t hold back as she addressed Kangana directly, calling her out for what she described as inflammatory and disrespectful remarks made during the recent flare-up between the two nations.

“How did you like Pakistan’s response? Hope you enjoyed it,” Mishi said with a sharp tone, referring to the country’s retaliatory military actions during the standoff. “Speaking against Pakistan and its people has cost you dearly.”

She went on to caution Kangana against stirring tensions through provocative statements. “Before pointing fingers at Pakistan, maybe take a long, hard look at your own backyard. We will always speak up and stand for our people,” Mishi said.

In a moment that has since gone viral, Mishi ended the video with a bold challenge — framed with a hint of symbolism and showmanship. “Let’s settle this like a match in the middle — I challenge you. One punch from me would be more than enough,” she declared.

Kangana Ranaut, who is known as much for her polarizing political views as for her film career, has often stirred controversy with her takes on India’s domestic and international matters, including Kashmir and Indo-Pak relations.

The exchange between the two actresses comes in the wake of a volatile week, which saw both countries on the brink of full-scale conflict before agreeing to a ceasefire over the weekend. The diplomatic breakthrough followed an intense exchange of missiles, drones, and rhetoric across the border — sparked by a deadly attack in Pahalgam, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, that left 26 civilians dead. India blamed Pakistan-based elements, a claim Islamabad firmly rejected.

In the days that followed, New Delhi escalated matters by suspending the Indus Waters Treaty, closing the Wagah border, and revoking Pakistani visas — steps Pakistan condemned as provocations. Islamabad responded militarily with “Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos,” claiming significant tactical successes.

The breakthrough came through U.S.-led diplomacy, with President Donald Trump announcing the ceasefire, later confirmed by senior officials from both countries and the United States. However, even as the guns fall silent, tensions — and tempers — clearly remain high on both sides of the border.
