“Maryam Highlights the Solid Bedrock of the Pakistan-Australia Long-Term Relationship”

Lahore: Neil Hawkins, the High Commissioner of Australia to Pakistan, paid a visit to Maryam Nawaz, the Senior Vice President of the PML-N.

During their meeting, they delved into matters of common interest. In her remarks, Maryam Nawaz expressed her appreciation for the positive, constructive, and close-friendly relations between Pakistan and Australia. She highlighted Australia’s genuine support for Pakistan during natural disasters and challenging times, as well as the significant role played by the Pakistani community in Australia in strengthening the bilateral friendship. Maryam emphasized that the enduring relationship between Pakistan and Australia is firmly grounded.

She also conveyed Pakistan’s desire to further elevate its relations with Australia across various domains, including trade, investment, and education. Maryam Nawaz Sharif extended her gratitude to the Australian government for their support in providing facilities to Pakistani students pursuing education in Australia.

In return, the Australian High Commissioner conveyed his thanks to Maryam Nawaz and extended best wishes to the leadership of the PML-N.
