Landman season 2 returns this November on Paramount+ with Sam Elliott joining the cast

Taylor Sheridan’s gritty oil drama Landman is officially making its comeback. Paramount+ announced that season 2 will premiere on Sunday, November 16, 2025, pulling fans right back into the dangerous, high-stakes world of West Texas oil.

The first season of Landman—based on the popular podcast Boomtown—introduced viewers to the ruthless clashes of money, family, and power in an oil-fueled landscape. It ended with a shocking twist: the death of M-Tex Oil CEO Monty Miller, which forced landman-turned-executive Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) into the corporate spotlight. Season 2 picks up in the aftermath, with Tommy now struggling to hold together an oil empire under threat from cartel leader Galino (Andy Garcia) and new boardroom rivals.

But Tommy isn’t alone. Cami Miller (Demi Moore), Monty’s widow, has emerged with her own power seat, creating both uneasy alliances and dangerous tensions. Expect their relationship to play a central role as loyalty, ambition, and survival collide.

The returning cast includes Thornton, Moore, Garcia, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie, and Colm Feore. This season also introduces a heavy hitter: Sam Elliott, who joins as a series regular, bringing his legendary Western presence into Sheridan’s oil-soaked drama.

If season 1 gave viewers boardroom betrayals and cartel shootouts, season 2 promises even more—bigger explosions, riskier deals, and secrets that could destroy empires. Sheridan, already known for Yellowstone and 1883, seems set to deliver another unflinching look at America’s resource wars.
