Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Omar Ayub has claimed that PTI Chairman Imran Khan believes the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) are intentionally causing a rift between the public and the military.
Speaking at the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), Omar stressed that politics should remain the responsibility of politicians, while the military, equipped with G3 rifles, cannons, tanks, and the Air Force with aircraft and JF-17s, should concentrate solely on their assigned roles.

He emphasized that the military, Frontier Corps (FC), and intelligence agencies are instruments of the state and must operate strictly within their constitutional limits.
Omar also underscored the urgent need for an independent Election Commission, asserting that only a strong Prime Minister can guide the country through its current crisis.
Criticizing the current government, which he described as ‘ineffective’ and established under Form 47, Omar pointed to the recent hike in electricity prices as a major burden on those earning between twenty to twenty-five thousand rupees per month.
