A passionate and high-profile event was held at Mughal Mahal Hotel, Gujranwala, to mark Kashmir Exploitation Day (Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir) in solidarity with the Kashmiri people. Organized under the leadership of Raja Sikander Khan, Chairman of the Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council, in collaboration with the Worldwide Journalists Community, the event reaffirmed the global commitment to the Kashmiri cause.
The program commenced at 1 PM and concluded with a grand lunch. Hotel owner Naeem Asif Mughal generously sponsored the venue and food as a gesture of his deep commitment to the Kashmir cause. Numerous distinguished guests attended, condemning Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and pledging to amplify the Kashmiri voice at international forums.
The event’s driving force, Raja Sikander Khan, has played a pivotal role in highlighting the Kashmir issue globally. From organizing a historic 40,000-strong rally in London to raising the voice of Kashmiris in the UK Parliament, his decades-long struggle was recognized and applauded. Speakers hailed him as a true hero of the Kashmir movement, and his visionary leadership inspired renewed hope for a free Kashmir.

Dr. Atiya Arshad Malik delivered a powerful speech, condemning Indian human rights abuses—particularly after the revocation of Article 370 in August 2019—and called for UN resolution implementation. Her concluding chant, “Kashmir will become Pakistan!”, echoed through the hall with thunderous applause.
Raja Khadim Hussain pledged continued support for Kashmiris until their right to self-determination is realized.
Barrister Mahmood Khan, CEO of the newly formed political party Khidmat Khalq League, denounced Indian aggression and called for international support for the Kashmiri people’s freedom.
The hall was deeply moved by a theatrical performance by children, portraying the brutalities in Kashmir and the resilience of its people. The presentation brought tears to many and reinforced their determination.
A key highlight of the event was the signing of an MoU between Raja Sikander Khan and Dr. Nasir Ghumman, strengthening collaboration between the Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council and the Worldwide Journalists Community. This agreement was hailed as a landmark step in the global Kashmir campaign.
Participants condemned Indian oppression in occupied Kashmir and urged the international community to ensure the implementation of UN resolutions.
The event concluded with a grand lunch, during which attendees discussed future actions and reaffirmed their commitment to Kashmir’s freedom. The leadership of Raja Sikander Khan and the hospitality of Naeem Asif Mughal made the event truly memorable.
