Lahore: Trailblazer Director and Screenwriter Ammad Azhar brings an outstanding short film “RAHYMA”. Shafaq Ammad is the scriptwriter and producer of the film.
Explaining the philosophy behind the film, Ammad Azhar said,”Daughters are a blessing. The film is an earnest attempt to raise awareness about changing the mindset of society towards daughters. This work is a response to those who consider girls as liability. In an increasingly materialistic world it is important to slow down, reflect, and value relationships based on love instead of economics. In that sense, the film transcends gender and really compels all of us to look around and celebrate our blessings.”
