Bilawal will run for candidacy in two National Assembly seats, while Zardari will contest for one NA seat

Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), is preparing to contest in the upcoming general elections for two National Assembly seats. Meanwhile, his father and co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari, is set to run for a single National Assembly seat from Sindh. This information was reported by The News on Saturday.

As per the PPP (Parliamentarians)’s released list of candidates participating from Sindh and Balochistan, the former foreign minister will vie for NA-194 in Larkana-I and NA-196 in Qambar Shahdadkot-I. Simultaneously, former President Zardari will engage in the electoral process from NA-207 in Shaheed Benazirabad-I.

The party unveiled its list a day ahead, outlining the candidates and their respective constituencies in Sindh who are poised to partake in the forthcoming elections. Their objective is to secure positions in both the National and Sindh assemblies.

Among other prominent candidates nominated by the party to contest in the highly anticipated elections for a lower house seat from the southern province, notable names include Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah for NA-201 (Sukkur-II), Nafisa Shah for NA-202 (Khairpur-I), Shazia Atta Marri for NA-209 (Sanghar-I), Pir Aftab Shah Jeelani for NA-211 (Mirpurkhas-I), Mir Munawar Ali Talpur for NA-212 (Mirpurkhas-II), Syed Naveed Qamar for NA-221 (Tando Muhammad Khan), Nabeel Gabol for NA-239 (Karachi South-I), and Abdul Qadir Patel for NA-243 (Karachi Keamari-II), among others.
