Get ready for a cricketing carnival! The ACC has announced the Men’s Asia Cup 2025, and it’s going to be hosted in the UAE from September 9 to 28.

The big news? Pakistan and India are in the same group again!

ACC President Mohsin Naqvi, who’s also the PCB chairman, confirmed the dates, promising fans an exciting tournament. The event will follow the T20 format, setting the stage for the T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka.

Groups for Asia Cup 2025

🏏 Group A: Pakistan, India, UAE, Oman
🏏 Group B: Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Hong Kong

The opening match on September 9 will see Afghanistan take on Hong Kong.

Pakistan’s Schedule

Sept 12: vs Oman
Sept 14: vs India (mark your calendars!)
Sept 17: vs UAE

If both teams qualify, Pakistan and India could clash again in the Super Four on Sept 21 – meaning fans might see two high-voltage encounters before the final on Sept 28.

Why UAE Again?

This year’s Asia Cup was initially supposed to be in India, but due to political tensions, it has been shifted to a neutral venue. The UAE, with its world-class cricketing facilities, was the natural choice. Dubai and Abu Dhabi will host most matches, as they’ve successfully staged Asia Cups, IPL, and other mega tournaments before.
