Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh Assumes Responsibilities as Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States

The Ambassador Spent a Busy Day at the Embassy, Meeting with the Heads of Departments, Officers of the Embassy

Washington DC: The newly appointed Pakistani Ambassador to the United States, Mr. Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has officially begun his diplomatic duties.

The Ambassador’s first day at the embassy was eventful. He met with embassy officers for a comprehensive discussion and received detailed briefings from the heads of various departments. Additionally, Ambassador Sheikh conducted a Zoom meeting with the Consul Generals of Pakistan across the United States.

During his meetings, Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh emphasized the significance of the Pak-US relationship. He outlined his primary goals, including strengthening multifaceted Pak-US relations, enhancing economic ties, and fostering people-to-people connections. He also praised the Pakistani diaspora in the U.S. as a valuable asset, highlighting their role as a crucial link in the Pak-US relationship. The Ambassador underscored the need for result-oriented diplomacy and emphasized efforts to improve service delivery to the community.

Upon his arrival in Washington yesterday, the Ambassador was welcomed by officials from the US State Department and embassy staff.
