Aleema Khan says Gandapur has pushed Imran Khan out of the picture

In a rather blunt revelation, Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan believes her brother has been practically sidelined by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur.

While chatting with reporters outside Adiala Jail, Aleema didn’t mince her words. When someone asked if Gandapur had really “minus-ed” Imran Khan, she replied, “I think he’s already been minus-ed.”

She didn’t stop there. Responding to claims that KP assembly members find Gandapur too strong to challenge, Aleema fired back, “If they can’t carry the weight, they should just go home.”

This comment comes just after the KP Assembly passed next year’s budget with an overwhelming majority — despite Imran Khan’s clear instructions from prison not to approve it until Gandapur and senior party leaders visited him in jail to explain the details.

Imran, who’s still locked up in Adiala Jail, had sent a message on June 17 demanding a full budget briefing from Ali Amin Gandapur, Omar Ayub, Muzammil Aslam, Taimur Jhagra, and Shibli Faraz — a condition the assembly members seem to have ignored.
