A high-level Ethiopian delegation, led by Dr. Jemal Beker Abdula, Special Envoy and Ambassador Extraordinary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Pakistan, visited Sindh Governor House where they were warmly received by Governor Kamran Tessori.
During the meeting, both sides discussed avenues of bilateral cooperation, particularly under the Green Legacy Initiative introduced by Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali. The governor and the visiting delegation exchanged views on strengthening ties through environmental and public welfare projects.
On the occasion, a flag hoisting ceremony was held in honor of the Ethiopian delegation. The event also marked the official launch of the “Plant Fraternity” initiative at Sindh Governor House, aimed at promoting tree plantation and environmental sustainability.
The delegation was given a guided tour of the historic Governor House and briefed on the various public welfare projects initiated under Governor Tessori’s leadership.
