Saudi Arabia makes Nusuk app free for pilgrims with new no-data access
Pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia for Hajj and Umrah can now use the Nusuk mobile app completely free, even without a mobile internet connection, thanks to a recent update by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
The update, supported by telecom giants STC, Mobily, and Zain, ensures that users with local Saudi SIMs can access all app features without consuming data.
Ghassan Al-Nuwaimi, a ministry spokesperson, stated that the feature is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader digital transformation plan for religious tourism. Pilgrims can now book permits, navigate city routes, access train schedules, and even use AI tools or report issues—all without needing Wi-Fi or a data plan.
