US Ambassador meets Caretaker PM Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar

ISLAMABAD, AUG 25 – U.S. Ambassador Donald Blome had a productive meeting with Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar today. During the meeting, Ambassador Blome expressed his delight in the opportunity to engage with the esteemed Prime Minister.

Ambassador Blome reaffirmed the steadfast commitment of the United States to the U.S.-Pakistan relationship. He emphasized the support for free and fair elections in Pakistan, highlighting the importance of democratic processes.

Furthermore, the Ambassador expressed his desire to collaborate with and through the U.S. Pakistan Green Alliance to build a sustainable and promising future for both nations. He encouraged efforts to protect the rights of religious minorities, showcasing the significance of inclusivity and diversity.

The meeting also touched upon the ongoing partnership between the United States and Pakistan with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to foster economic recovery.
