The best men’s grooming tips from the stars

The world of men’s skincare can be tricky to navigate, whether you’re rocking facial hair or simply trying to avoid breakouts. Luckily, some of the world’s most handsome men from David Beckham to Ryan Reynolds have revealed their best grooming tips – and we’ve rounded up the best ones…

Chris Evans

“I’ve never been one for too much grooming. But I hear Kiehl’s is good. If there’s anything I’ve heard over and over in the make-up chair, it’s that people love Kiehl’s products,” the Captain America star shared with GQ

David Beckham

“When you look after yourself, you feel better, you look better,” the face of Biotherm Homme revealed in a video. “I cleanse, I moisturise. I’m in and out in seven minutes. It’s just not about how you look, it’s how you feel.”

Ryan Reynolds

“I think for guys, sunscreen is probably the best thing you can use because it’s going to help you look a little younger as you start getting on a bit,” the Deadpool star explained to Men’s Health

David Gandy

“When I wake up in the morning, I tend to just use a good quality moisturizer from Aveda,” the model told Refinery29. “My routine is the same for a night out, but in the evening, I use a rose oil. It was recommended to me by a make-up artist to apply to the skin after flights, which is especially important because of how often I fly.”

Johannes Huebl

“I use Clinqiue facial scrub a few times a week,” Olivia Palermo’s husband told Yahoo!. “It’s good to exfoliate the body, too, once or twice a week with a loofa, but my hands are just as rough as the loofa, so it doesn’t matter whether I use it or not.”

Justin Timberlake

“I trim my eyebrows when I have my hair cut and I have massages, but they’ll be like, deep tissue,” he admitted to Cosmopolitan. “It’s more in the clothes for me. I have a face wash. And I will put lotion on. And maybe some aftershave.”

Zac Efron

“Someone said to me that guys are trying to copy my hairstyle, but to be honest, this hairstyle is derived from laziness,” the Baywatch star told TOTP. “I wake up and go – that’s it. There’s no product in it, nothing. If you really want your hair to look good, just don’t wash it for a day. That’s my secret.”

Cristiano Ronaldo

“I really enjoy the luxury of having a wet shave and a hot shower,” he previously revealed. “If I have a big event then I enjoy taking more time to get ready. Once I’m dressed, the last thing that I do is spray fragrance, as that is the finishing touch to my grooming routine.”

Liam Hemsworth

“Nothing other than a good night’s sleep and ocean water,” he revealed when asked by Marie Claire about his skincare routine.

Pharrell Williams

“You have to clean your face. You can’t sit around and assume it’s going to be OK. I wash my face every day – don’t be afraid to wash yours before you go to bed!” the Happy hitmaker told Into the Gloss
